DEVELOPING THE BEST DOSAGE OF MEDICINE FOR CONTROLLING YOUR MG

This MG Medication Sheet was developed to assist you to keep track of your medications and of how you feel in relation to the dosage prescribed for you. Since each case of Myasthenia Gravis is different, the information that can be gained from this record can be of vital importance to you and your physician in determining as quickly as possible the dosage of medicine you will need to function as well as possible.

Timing of medication and how you felt before and after each dosage of medication was taken need to be given serious consideration. Side effects must be recognized and taken note of. They can be managed in most cases. As soon as you feel the effects of the medication wearing off, make a note of the time. Your medication schedule can then be adjusted to help alleviate low energy periods. Timing of dosages can also be arranged around necessary daily activities.

Remember to take your MG medication with food - especially Mestinon, Prednisone and lmuran. Note: You might start your log by making several copies of this page.)
